Project Location: Tucson, Arizona
Date of Performance: 2006-2009
Project Description: Extensive renovation of historic 1961 sanctuary originally designed by Charles Cox. Building is characterized by a thin-shell concrete hyperbolic paraboloid roof. Project also included nomination to the National Register of Historic Places. The renovation was published in the book Managing Energy Use in Modern Buildings: Case Studies in Conservation Practice by the Getty Center's Conserving Modern Architecture Initiative.
