Residences of Thomas Gist in Southern Arizona, 1947-1981—Context Study

Project Description: Developed historic context study on the work of designer and builder Tom Gist. Context study was based on research and property surveys of more than 100 Gist-designed residences. Project tracked the evolution of Gist's work and identified the character-defining features of his most distinctive houses. Research was submitted to the Arizona State Historic Preservation Office and the National Register of Historic Places.
